Description
- Daily management of Atlassian application stack - Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, Jira Service Management, etc..
- Leading all aspects of the Atlassian toolchain, including workflows, automation, custom fields, schemes, permissions, add-ons, and integrations.
- Coordinating Atlassian Access for Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket (OnPrem and Cloud).
- Ensuring system availability of Atlassian tools based on defined SLAs.
- Developing metrics dashboards and reports to provide development teams and senior leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports.
- Collaborating with partners requesting Jira project changes to provide practical solutions which meet their requirements.
- Leading and enforcing Atlassian’s best practices and maintaining consistency across all our instances.
- Using JIRA REST APIs for integration with other tools like Microsoft Teams, Tempo Timesheets, and Integration/Automation frameworks.
- Manage user permissions according to the needs of spaces and teams
- POC for billing and support - Improving return on investment by handling licensing and Atlassian spend.
- Serve as internal SME for the PMO on the JIRA tool.
- Develop, maintain and conduct end-user training as necessary.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Atlassian Administration experience, supporting large enterprise environments
- Applicable Atlassian certification(s) is a plus (E.g. ACP-120,ACP-620)
- Have led implementation, and owned all aspects of an Atlassian environment
- Proven track record with Atlassian installations (Cloud, OnP), migrations, and upgrades
- Proficient with JQL, building dashboards and reports.
- Extensive knowledge of ScriptRunner or similar Jira Add-Ons is a plus
- Knowledge of other code repositories is a plus.
- Familiar with Information Security concepts such as the Principle of Least Privilege.
- Advocate for process efficiency and consistency
- Can provide creative solutions for process problems that align with Jira standard methodologies
- Have worked in other high growth environments
- Understand current core business processes and existing technical solutions
- Able to lead focused Jira and process discussions with a variety of organization members
- Able to write user-facing documentation and lead training
- Conceptual and practical understanding of Agile frameworks to include SCRUM and Kanban
- Comfortable with working independently and being a self-starter
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Preference for those who have worked with global teams in the past
